ABOUT US
Welcome! We are Kyra and Jake and we were both raised in Michigan. Growing up in a smaller city, with some exposure from other cities and states throughout the years, we were able to witness a variety of businesses that were both doing successfully as well as those needing a little boost perhaps to be properly seen.
We are the types of people who always pursued solutions, created results, even from our childhood days. Whether it was childhood plays, coming up with new rules to games, writing music, the list goes on. We always had it in us to pursue what others sometimes considered to be lofty goals or impossible dreams, yet we made them happen.
As time went on, Kyra started getting into sales positions of all kinds, Jake, bouncing between bartending and banking. Through these positions, we were able to dig deep and discover what other people's passions were really about and, rather than dismissing them, learned how to often guide them in the right direction.
Our former jobs held us back from being able to really help people the way that we wanted to, and after some time we reconnected and stated, "Why not go after the life that we want? We advise our clients every day what steps to take to achieve their goals, let's take our own advice and realize the aspirations we have in ourselves!"
We both have a constant fervor for creativity and went after and learned several different crafts over the years. Now it was time to put that experience to practice. Kyra studied and carried out all things social media, advertisement, marketing, and other miscellaneous online services. Jake pursued graphic design, website development, and more. And of course, we both continue to learn a little bit from each other too.
EMERAVEL, our business name, is a portmanteau of Emerald and Unravel. We wish to unravel the issues and barriers that we find hold people back, and allow both owner and customer to truly see the value that each business brings into society. It is kind of like finding an emerald in the rough, that hasn't been polished or cut. We make it our mission to see to it that more gems are rendered visible in the light for everyone to see. We make it our mission to seek out, care for, and nurture the businesses we find bring the best out of people in everyday life.
